Our paragliding journey begins with a breathtaking flight over the valley of Nadiža river, before flying towards the stunning Soča river. As we soar above, you will see the majestic Kobariški Stol, the longest mountain ridge in Slovenia, extending all the way from Kobarid to Gemona in Italy. With favorable visibility, the panorama reveals the grandeur of the Julian Alps and the sparkling Adriatic Sea, while offering glimpses of the Slovenian, Croatian, and Italian coastlines, painting an unforgettable vista of natural beauty and cultural diversity.

The geological formation of Kobariški Stol dates back millions of years, with its peaks formed through the gradual uplift of the Earth’s crust and subsequent erosion by glaciers and rivers. Kobariški Stol holds cultural and historical significance alongside its geological importance. Inhabited for centuries, the region features ancient settlements and artifacts. During World War I, it was a crucial battleground. Today, it symbolizes resilience, attracting visitors to admire its natural beauty and reflect on its history.

From technical singletracks to adrenaline-pumping downhill runs, the mountain offers an exhilarating playground for riders of all skill levels. There are also many options for hiking, with trails starting in Kobarid and extending along the ridge for a considerable distance, as well as easier options available.
